Sight seeing the Brunssum Centrum

Took these photos whilst on a walkabout in the Centrum of Brunssum the first weekend I was here, 11 February. Quite interesting, indeed. The first photos are of the stairs up to my room at the hotel I’m staying at. The owner says that theses are typical of Dutch stairs in residences. So, when people were talking about the stairs being narrow, I was thinking in terms of narrow being left-to-right. Nope, they meant from front to rear. Could you imagine taking furniture up those?!?!?!? Right after taking the photo of the “No Drugs Allowed” sign, I saw this little car. Incredible!! Smaller than a Mini, for sure. And, its legal for driving on the autobahn (highway) here!!! Truly amazing!!
