The Tucker Stories

For those of you who’re interested, I’ve fixed the Gallery to allow only registered users to view. My only real concern with this site was having our Happy Snaps out there in the big, bad intarwebz. So, by restricting access to those folks I want to allow, I can only hope that friends and family will help safe guard these photos.

With that, I’ve had to make individual accounts. More work for me, transparent to ya’ll. Except, of course, that ya’ll’ll have to contact me for your account info, if you don’t already have it. Once you get your info, you’re more than welcome to enable “Remember Me” from your browser.

Now, to the good stuff. Since I’m gouging around in the Gallery anyway, I added a couple of new features to it. The first is the ability to be notified when anything new is added to the Gallery. Therefore, you won’t be forced to visit this site, just to see if there’re any changes. You’ll get an email telling you. This is why everyone has their own account on here! Also, I’ve enabled Google Earth/Maps so that you can see where the photo was taken on a scalable map. Take a look at the left side bar once you’re in an album. There will be a Google Earth button which will show the map where the snap was taken. I think its really cool.

OK, its about 4 am on a work day, so I’d better catch some zzzz’s before I go to work. Sure hope that this is working for ya’ll.
