The Tucker Stories

When I in-processed Housing, they were real antsy for me to get a house, government lease or otherwise. Especially since they’re paying for my hotel bills!! The only thing available was a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house. Here I was thinking that I’d have a couple of months to wait and, wham, off we go. I told the guy that I’d have to look at it first to make sure that it’d be acceptable before I signed for anything. After all that we’d read online, heard from others and what I’d seen this weekend, I was shocked at how good this house was. It was HUGE!! And the stairs were “normal”, too!! So, come next Monday, I’ll move out of here and into the house. The Housing office is sending over loaner furniture, washer, dryer and refrigerators then, too. Now, besides a car, I need to get some pots and pans to cook food with!!
