The Tucker Stories

After two years, one hundred and one days and two false starts, my Mini Cooper S finally arrived!! Her name is Margaret Rose and likes to be called Maggie!! When I picked her up, she had all of 15 miles on the odo. Now the true adventuring and exploring of Holland begins!! First thing I had to do was to travel back out to Simpleveld and repay a debt. Back in March, I’d locked the keys in Vince’s car. A Nederlanderer was kind enough to help me out by lending me his cell phone, his house phone and his ANWB card and, finally, a hatchet to break the glass. So, I thanked him for his assistance with a fifth of Jim. This guy was VERY happy with that and I was glad to thank him. I even (finally) took some pictures of the view that had made me stop there in the first place!!! After that, I spent the weekend putting on the miles!!!
