On one of my daily visits to Failblog, I saw this picture of a guy washing his car in the rain. Now, admittedly, I thought it was pretty ridiculous.
- Fail??
That is until yesterday. Maggie desperately needed a wash as she’s been neglected for about three weeks now. As yesterday was an early release day (yes, thats how they roll in NATO!!), I decided to use that time to give Maggie a proper bath.
As I typically take Maggie’s wheels off every other car wash, I leave her in the basement for this step. So, I got her wheels cleaned up and started into washing her. As I drove her up out of the basement, I saw the rain clouds approaching.
Yup, you got it. Washing in the rain. Now, it was only a sprinkle; not nearly as bad as that guy. But, truth be told, it was raining.
So the question remains: is this really a fail or is it devotion? I choose to look at it as taking proper care of equipment.
I’m just glad no one took a picture!!
