Since Friday is an early release day, I took the opportunity of sunny day to ride about the neighborhood to see what’s beyond the next hill. And what an amazing find, to be sure!!! I was so impressed with the sites that I went back home to get the camera and carry that around with me. These pictures were taken on the bike paths that connect Kerkrade and Landgraff, the next burb, heading towards Germany. Honestly, I was hesitant to get too far into Germany but it was a beautiful ride. I took one close up of a tree believed to be a dogwood. Any horticulturalists out there who can identify this one way or another? True to form, I took a couple of panoramic shots and saved them as a big snap and the QuickTime image. They are both of pastures ( 1 / 2 ) on the way to Landgraff (and .mov 1 / 2 ). Hopefully, they’ll work for ya’ll but be sure to let me know if you have any problems. Also, I saw the King Kong of horses!! I took a snap of this guy but you have to look at the photo before it in order to get an idea of just how HUGE this guy was. He had to be six feet to the shoulder. Wouldn’t you agree?!?!? Finally, I saw this family out for a walk. Seems to me that the daughter DEFINITELY has the situation well in hand. Don’t you???
