The Tucker Stories

Went to Landstuhl Army Regional Hospital to have a check-up on my foot. Left on Sunday and got back here on Monday. Yet another European comedy of errors!!! But first, as I was parking the van in the parking lot, Fate would have it that I would park by the >>ONLY<< Mini Cooper S in the parking lot!!! And it was just like mine!!! I took a quick shot of it on the sly so I wouldn’t look like a freak! On Monday, I met my new Pod. She was in civilian clothes, so I asked her if she was an Army doc. Nope. Was she a civilian contractor? Nope. She was a Red Cross volunteer!!!! When I asked her how long she’d been a Pod, she says almost a year!!! Nice. And she’s leaving Germany in June!!! The hits just keep coming! Regardless, she takes notes for whoever follows up with her and we get the follow-up x-rays taken care of. In any case, the drive there and back was the best part of the whole trip. I took the stretch photo near Spangdahlem, Germany to show the pastures. I thought it was pretty nice.
